Yvonne Jones Fults, 83, of Mt. Herman, formerly of Splendora, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 4, 2010. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Yvonne was born on February 17, 1927 to Calvin and Julie Jones. She was the youngest of nine children and a twin to brother, Leon. Her family and friends will lovingly remember her as a Maw Maw or Granny. She was always ready to give a smile, hug, or a word of encouragement when needed. Her love of God, family, friends and fishing with her long time friend, Idell Fults, was something she held dear. Mrs. Fults was a member of First Baptist Church in Splendora.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Michael Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Shelby County.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Mary Ann Wehmeyer and husband Ray of Navasota

Granddaughters:
Jackie Hampton of Kingwood
Beckie Dewvall and husband Dave of Channelview
Jennifer Sealy and husband Jack of Kalispell, Montana

Grandson, Troy Benton Fults of Temple

Great Grandsons:
Jon Dewvall, Thomas Fults, and Jackson Sealy

Great Granddaughters:
Taylor Files, Erika Hampton, Casey Sealy, Jordin Sealy

Also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Her family would like to thank the folks of Pine Grove Nursing Center, and the Hospice folks from Life Care Health Services of Nacogdoches.
