William Ben Ingerton, 53, of Center, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 14, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with Bro. Danny Dodson officiating.

Born June 2, 1973, William is the son of Rhodes Ingerton and Wanda Englehart Ingerton. At a young age, William was in an accident and had to use crutches. He found going up and down stairs difficult. Bro. Horn showed him how to use one of his crutches as a slide. During this time in his life, he started asking Bro. Horn a lot of questions and they had a lot of talks. At this time, William asked God to make him His child.

He is survived by his children, Devlyn Ingerton, Sheridan Ingerton, Brionna Ingerton, and Autumn Ingerton; sister, Tammy and husband Randy Hagler; nieces, Ashley and husband Dustin Parker and Alysse Hagler; great nephews, Dylan Parker, Lane Parker, Shon Parker, and Brantley Baldridge; and great niece, Nova Bell.

Preceded in death by parents, Rhodes Ingerton and Wanda Englehart Ingerton.
