William Walter "Bunk" Beck, 90, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 in Center. He was born October 10, 1917 in Shelbyville to Walter B. Beck and Carrie Helpinstill Beck. Mr. Beck was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was retired from the Shelbyville Independent School District. Mr. Beck was a member of Shelbyville United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 21, 2008 at Shelbyville Cemetery with Rev. Carla Reed officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Powell, Tim Powell, James I. Powell, John Howard, Franklin Crawford, S.W. Carter, and Jack Bradberry.
