Wade Anderson , 81, of Center, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, in Lufkin.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2016 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home, in Center, with Rev. Carl Smith and Rev. John Bender officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Memorial Park in Center.

Mr. Anderson was born February 27, 1935, in Sexton, to Jeff Anderson and Alene Williamson Anderson. He was a retired employee of Texas Utilities. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Center High School class of 1954, and a 50 year member of Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149. He also loved to fish. His spiritual life involved First Baptist Church in Center, where he was a faithful member. He showed God's love in his ministry to the nursing homes and his relationships with others.
