Virginia Parker McDonald, 76, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009 at a Shreveport hospital. She was born February 24, 1933 in Shelbyville to O.L. Parker, Jr. and Lois Wilburn Parker.

Mrs. McDonald was a member of the West Hamilton Missionary Baptist Church. She had retired from Farmers State Bank after 30 years, and was most recently working as a licensed real estate agent for Tammy Steptoe Realty.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. B. A. Morris and Bro. Pat Windham officiating. Interment will follow at West Hamilton Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Pallbearers will be Jason McDonald, Greg McDonald, Grant McDonald, Brodie Steptoe, Kyle Steptoe, Stephen Snell, Bradley Lovell and Bryan Sanders.
