Violet Ford, 80, of Center, passed away, Saturday December 24, 2011 in Center. She was born December 8, 1931 in Troup to Rayford Duke and Ollie Mae Melton Duke. Mrs. Ford was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She was a charter member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Center and taught Sunday school there for a number of years.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, Monday, December 26, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
