Verna Maudine Holder Evans, 81, of Diboll, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 at her home. She was born December 6, 1927 in Shelby County to Lewis Holder and Lela Brady Holder.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2009 at McClelland Cemetery in Shelby County with Bro. Ross Black officiating.

She is survived by:
