Thomas "Jeff" Sims, 87, of Center, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Shelby Regional Medical Center. He was born October 6, 1922 in the Campti Community of Shelby County to Jesse James Sims and Cynthia Caroline Byrd Sims. Mr. Sims was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a member of the LineCo Construction Electrical Union.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, May 21, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Campti Cemetery with Bro. Ed McRae and Bro. Michael Grogan officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Rogers, Dusty Davis, Dewayne Bailey, Randy Bush, Michael Leim, J.J. Sims, Danny Sims and David Kerr.
