Thomas "Tom" Scruggs, 63, of Joaquin, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 at his home. He was born October 24, 1944 in Shelbyville to Lawrence Thomas Scruggs and Edith Marie Clark Scruggs. Mr. Scruggs retired from the Air Force, where he attained the rank of Master Sergeant, and was a member of the Air Force Sergeant's Association. He was a member of Jackson Baptist Church in Joaquin.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Cross and Bro. Jody Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at Folsom Chapel Cemetery in Center.
