Thelma Harkness , 89, of Center, passed away with her family by her bedside on Monday, June 6, 2016, in Nacogdoches.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Ron Luman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Center.

Mrs. Harkness was born September 10, 1926, in Pontiac, Oklahoma, to Jewel Nichols and Lola Wylie Nichols. She loved sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.
