Tanya Lynn Crawford Johnson , 68, of Joaquin, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021, in Joaquin.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Chuck Horton officiating.

Tanya was born July 18, 1952, in Center, to Curtis Randolph Crawford and Juanita Octavia Roberts Crawford.  She enjoyed cooking, watching her kids and grandkids play sports, and playing card games.  Tanya was a member of First Baptist Church in Tenaha.

She is survived by her husband, Newton Johnson Jr. of Joaquin; children, Meredith Latham Johnston and husband Daniel of Carthage and Joey Latham and wife Sheerin of San Francisco, California; brother, Donald Crawford and wife Vickie of New London; sister-in-law, Rose Crawford of Tenaha; grandchildren, Connor Johnston of Carthage, Elizabeth, Evan, Cameron, Zoya, and Tyler Latham of San Francisco, California; stepdaughter, Amy Lee Johnson; nephews, Donald Wayne Crawford of Whitehouse and Spencer Crawford of Center; niece, Tammy Mitchum of Nacogdoches; and special friend, Sandra Remedies of Benton, Louisiana.

Preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Randolph Crawford and Juanita Octavia Roberts Crawford; and brother, Randall "Bubba" Crawford.
