Tami Jean Spells , 64, of Center, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Nacogdoches, surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation at 10:00 a.m.  Bro. Jacob Fitzgerald will officiate.  Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Born October 17, 1960, in Stamford, Connecticut, Tami is the daughter of Patrick Palmer and Joan Palmer.  Her hobbies included decorating, cooking, collecting Wizard of Oz Memorabilia, arranging flowers, playing computer games, and loving and taking care of her fur babies.

She is survived by her husband, Michael R. Spells of Center; sisters, Trica Palmer of Stamford, Connecticut, Christa Lockwood of Stamford, Connecticut, Allison Palmer of Stamford, Connecticut, and Jami Palmer of Stamford, Connecticut; brother, Robert Palmer; nieces and nephews, Kasey, Michael, Heather, David, Megan, Kayley, Nikita, Chelsea, Kylie, and Dayana.

Preceded in death by parents, Patrick Palmer and Joan Palmer; sister, Carol Palmer DeLuca; and brother, Gerald Palmer.

Pallbearers will be Alex Rafael, Robert Bush, Daryl Yates, Robert Griffin, David Griffin, and Kirk Collard.
