Sybil Schillings Thomas, 91, of Center passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Green Acres Nursing Center. She was born on October 5, 1919 in Center to A.E. Schillings and Mary Hughes Schillings. Mrs. Thomas graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1937 as Salutatorian of her class. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Thomas served as a nurse for several years.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Oaklawn Memorial Park with Bro. Terry DeOrnellis officiating.

Daughter, Karen Bassett of Henderson

Granddaughter, Lynn Belcher and husband, Rusty of Henderson

Grandsons:
Mark Bassett and wife, Veronica of Henderson
James S. Bassett of Henderson
