Susan Leah Golding, 61 of Asheville, North Carolina entered heaven on Thursday, February 28, 2019.

II Corinthians 5:8: "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

Luke 23:43: "Jesus answered him, I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Wimberly Cemetery in Huxley.

Ms. Golding was born September 5, 1957 in Port Arthur to Thurman Ross "TR" Golding and Hazel Fields Golding.

She is survived by sisters: Carole Sonmor of Houston, Sandra Palmer and husband Johnny of Nacogdoches, Patricia Elizondo and husband Joe of San Antonio, Debbie Lawson and husband Mark Sr. of Groves. She is also survived by aunts: Maxine Christian of Tenaha and Beth Golding of Winnie; nephews: Lee Sonmor, Kyle Sonmor, Steven Frioux, Mark Lawson Jr, Chad Lawson, Tyler Lawson; nieces: Kim Knox, Angela Sturm, Kristen Frioux, Jennifer Hobson, Christie Council.

She is preceded in death by parents Thurman Ross Golding and Hazel Fields Golding Lloyd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Dream Center of SETX. This outreach seeks to restore and transform lives "by a supernatural understanding of God's love."
