Shorty Webster, 82, of Center, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at Christus Schumpert in Shreveport. He was born November 25, 1927 in Joaquin to Ernest Benton Webster and Ruby Louise Green Webster. Mr. Webster was a member of the James Church of Christ. He served in the US Army during WWII.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, January 15, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Mickey Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at Smith Cemetery in Center.

Pallbearers will be Josh Webster, Joel Webster, Justin Webster, Evan Jones, Davis Kline and Craig Andrews.
