Shirley Mae Rayson Rogers, 63, of Center, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Nacogdoches. She was born September 24, 1947 in Panola County to Marvin Rayson and Suda Ramsey Rayson. Mrs. Rogers was employed as a Teacher's Aide with Shelbyville ISD. She was a member of the Carroll Chapel C.M.E. Church.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Center with Pastor E. L. Lockett officiating. Interment will follow at the Walker Cemetery in Carthage.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lister, Tommy Gardner, Tommy Rodgers, Clyde Hewitt, Jack Whiting and Keith Byndom.
