Ruth Mitchell Powdrill, 81, of Center, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at a Nacogdoches hospital. She was born February 28, 1928 in Louisiana to Andrew Lee Mitchell and Georgia Buckingham Mitchell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Center.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, October 2, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
