Ruth Santos Boyett , 82, of Center, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020, in Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Joe Walker officiating. Interment will follow at O.E. Price Cemetery in Logansport, Louisiana.

Born December 2, 1937, Ruth is the daughter of the late Jessie Santos and Ellen Paddie Santos. She retired as a service desk clerk at Walmart. Her hobbies included gardening and watching the hummingbirds. She loved roses and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Ruth was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Mansfield, Louisiana.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Boyett and wife Ann of Joaquin and Becky Rogers and husband Carl of Center; grandchildren, Jeremy Boyett and wife Sue Sue of Logansport, Louisiana, Justin Boyett and wife Katie of Logansport, Louisiana, Matthew Rogers and family of Center, Chloe Rogers of Center, and Joseph Rogers of Center; great grandchildren, Ainsley, Alyssa, Easton, Lisa Shamburger and husband Holden, and Levi; brother and sisters, Dennis Santos, Mary Ann Procell and husband Malcolm, Elaine Welch, and Dorothy Blaylock and husband Charles; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends.

Preceded in death by husband, A.J. Boyett; parents, Jessie Santos and Ellen Paddie Santos; sisters, Ruby Estes and Nettie Mayfield; brothers, Pete Santos, Wilson Santos, Joseph Santos, and Edward Santos.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Boyett, Justin Boyett, Joseph Rogers, Matthew Rogers, Justin Erwin, and Truit Whittley. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Murray, L.J. Whitten, and Jimmy Stephens.
