Ruth Bishop , 83, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, in Cleveland.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation beginning at Noon.  Interment will follow at McClelland Cemetery in Shelby County.  Bro. Gordon Vaughn will officiate.

Born July 27, 1938, in Pasadena, Ruth is the daughter of Myrle Bigham and Lawrence Chandler.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby Allgood of Cleveland, Randy Allgood of Cleveland, and Larry Allgood and wife Lisa of Porter; grandchildren, Bridget Magby and husband Dustin of Center, Erin and husband Alex Grape of Plantersville, and Randall Allgood and wife Taylor of Montgomery; great grandchildren, Bobby Allgood, Ashton Magby, Corbin Magby, Parker Grape, and Grant Allgood; and sisters, Alice Ansley and Jerrie Chandler both of Gary.

Preceded in death by husband, Bobby Allgood; husband, Jessie Lee Bishop; parents, Myrle Bigham and Lawrence Chandler; brothers, Homer Dean Chandler, Noble Ray Chandler, and Tom Paul Chandler; sister, Evelyn Fraizer.

Pallbearers will be Randall Allgood, Alex Grape, Drue Michel, Bobby Allgood, Tom Ansley, and Jerry Allgood.
