Ruby Adams Fountain, 87, of Center, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008 in a local nursing center. She was born August 10, 1921 in Center to Dolphus Adams and Florence Smith Adams. Ms. Adams was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Billy Rex fountain of Center: grandsons; Rocky Fountain of Center, Ronney Fountain of Dallas: sister, Inez Davis of West Lake, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Fountain; two brothers, Fane Adams and Fate Adams: two sisters; Norma Adams and Hazel Doggett.
