Robert Jewell Williford, 67, of Joaquin, passed away Monday, April 27, 2009 in Shreveport. He was born March 21, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas to Levi Williford and Dorothy Burns Williford. Robert was a member of the Church of Christ in Joaquin. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 29th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, April 30th at Watson & Sons Chapel with D. J. Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Pallbearers will be William Cox, Nathan Cox, Brandon Eaves, Rocky Curry and Chris Dockens. Honorary pallbearer will be Bo Posey.
