Robert Hoyston Ramsey, 57, of Shreveport, formerly of Timpson, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Christus Schumpert in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born September 20, 1951 in Center, Texas to Doyle Ramsey & Imogene Hooper Ramsey. He was a 1970 graduate of Timpson High School. Robert attended First Baptist Church in Bossier City, and was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Timpson. He was retired from A T & T where he had been a technician since 1971.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2nd at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 3rd at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Ky Faciane officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Center.
