Robert Lee Monroe , 66, of Shelbyville, passed away December 12, 2018, in San Augustine.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Dan Fleming officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Patroon Cemetery in Shelby County.

Mr. Monroe was born September 12, 1952, in Center, to Robert Don Monroe and Annice Cason Monroe. He was a member of Patroon Baptist Church.

He is survived by sister, Donna Sue Monroe of Shelbyville; nephews, Jody Cooper of Shelbyville, Adam Murehead of Shelbyville; great nieces and nephews, Caitlyn Cooper of Lewisville, Haleigh Hall and husband David of Nacogdoches, Jacob Jackson and wife Letha of Logansport, Louisiana, Jordan Jackson and wife Emily of Center, Cale Cooper of Shelbyville, McKenzie Murehead; numerous great great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by parents, Robert Don Monroe and Annice Cason Monroe.

Pallbearers will be Cale Cooper, Craig Lewis, David Hall, Tommy Jenkins, Ricky Lout and Walter Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Runnels, Troy Shofner, Jimmy Jackson and Ray Jackson.
