Robbie Ruth Fry, 61, of Joaquin, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Tyler.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2026, at New Prospect Baptist Church, 4817 FM 31 South, Carthage, Texas 75633. Bro. Chester Farmer and Bro. Randy Farmer will officiate. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Joaquin.
Robbie was born September 4, 1964, in Shelby County, to Charles Rippy and Betty Crump Rippy. She loved her family, she loved helping people, and she loved her dogs and cat. Robbie was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church, where she served as both a Sunday school and a VBS teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Fry; sons, Michael John Fry and Marshall Alan Fry; brothers-in-law, Roy Fry and wife Janet, Ronnie Fry and wife Tina, Rex Fry and wife Jackie, and Ricky Fry; sisters, Patricia Hughes, Brenda and husband Tommy Ford, Vicky and husband Larry Askew, Martha Weaver, and Cathy and husband Bill Abbott; mother-in-law, Audria Boyd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Charles Rippy and Betty Crump Rippy; brothers, Steve Hughes and Mike Hughes; sisters, Janie Wheless, Pamela Cunningham, and Sandra Eddins; grandparents, Robert and Joe Rippy and Robert and Myrtis Crump; and aunt, Lyndell Rippy.
