Richard Ellis "Rick" Rogers, 79, of Oakhurst, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, in Huntsville.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center with Pastor Ford Adkins officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery in Shelby County.

Born July 5, 1943, in Monahans Ward County, Rick is the son of Eva Lee Hopp and Audrey "Rod" Ellis Rogers.  He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Fountain Rogers of Oakhurst; sons, Bobby, Randy, and Richard Rogers; stepdaughter, Megan Elizabeth Clark of St. Louis, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; fur babies, Kristina Regay Rogers and Camille Alaina Rogers; and very special friends, Dennis and Marge Gunia, Lois Carver, Barbara Koy, and James Odom; and care giver and good friend, Carrie Stulting.

Preceded in death by parents, Eva Lee Hopp and Audrey "Rod" Ellis Rogers; and sister, Mary Gail Rogers Wipf.

Pallbearers will be Payton Stulting, Collin Stulting, Colton Stulting, Joey Fountain, Justin Gibbs, and Mitch Fountain.
