Richard Dean McConnell , 78, of Timpson, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, in Houston.

His wishes were to be cremated.

Born November 6, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Richard is the son of Adry McConnell Sr. and Florence Snow McConnell.  He loved fishing, carpentry, NASCAR, and playing card games on his phone and computer.

He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Ann Lawrence of California, Wendy Wallace and husband Troy of Timpson, and Laura Yanez of Center; grandchildren, Alexus Wallace, Tahlia Wallace, and Tyler Lawrence; great grandchildren, Jetsyn Wallace and Amara Garcia; brother, Adry McConnell Jr. of Minnesota; sister, Judy Anderson of Minnesota; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Adry McConnell Sr. and Florence Snow McConnell; and sisters, Mary Jane Hanson, JoAnn Hughes, and Jan Nick.
