Rebecca Chance , 67, of Center, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 9, 2022, in Nacogdoches.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Mike Thomson officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Shelby County.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Born June 5, 1955, in Houston, Rebecca is the daughter of the late Rhoda Laird Mullins and Dempsey Mullins.  Rebecca dedicated her life to the service of others as a nurse, specializing in home health, hospice, and geriatric care.

She is survived by her husband, Wendell Chance of Center, TX; daughter, Lauren Chance and Matt Stackhouse of Boerne, TX; son, Justin Chance and Charlie Leclair of Willis, TX; grandson, Mason Chance Leclair; sisters, Diane Clay and Gary of McKinney, TX, Patricia Hicks of Crockett, TX, and Susan Thomson and Mike of Crockett, TX; sister-in-law, Shelia Milam Estes of OK; brother-in-law, Gary and Debbie Chance of Montgomery, TX; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Rhoda Laird Mullins and Dempsey Mullins and mother and father-in-law, Lonnie and Billy Chance; brother, Curtis Mullins; nephew, Dooley Mullins; and great niece, Parker Beavers.

Pallbearers will be Justin Chance, Matt Stackhouse, Charlie Leclair, Jason Hudson, John Michael Barnett, and Tony Dyches.  Honorary pallbearers Chuck Kennedy, Gary Chance, and Mason Chance Leclair.
