Rayford Homer Russell, 73, of Center, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. He was born November 1, 1935 in Center to Clayton Russell and Helen Chisum Russell. He was a member of Timpson Masonic Lodge and the Timpson Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Russell served in the National Guard.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, May 8th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 9th at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Jason Hebert officiating. Interment will follow at White Rock Cemetery.
