Quintin Leon Smith , 65, of Joaquin, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, in Longview.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Smith Cemetery in Joaquin with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Bro. Michael Hodge will officiate.

Born June 3, 1955, Quintin is the son of the late T.J. Smith and Lona "DeeDee" Patillo Smith.  He retired from the United States Army.  His hobbies included fishing, playing video games, and cooking.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Smith of Everett, Washington, Jessica Smith of Hallettsville, Texas, Quintin Smith Jr. of Center, Marla Lee of Houston, Brandon Smith of Wisconsin, Stefanie Scalish of Wisconsin, and Shaun Smith of Kansas; sister, Vonda Anderson of Joaquin; and brothers, Jay Smith of Center, Charles Smith of Colorado, and Aaron Smith of Joaquin.

Preceded in death by his parents, J.T. Smith and Lona "DeeDee" Patillo Smith.
