Philip John Bounds , 66, of Garland, formerly of Center, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 in Garland.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Tim Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

Mr. Bounds was born November 29, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Hubert Burke Bounds and Margie Jones Bounds. He served in the United States Air Force.
