It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our beloved mother, Peggy Woodfin, has passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, and a loving Mamaw whose kindness, strength, and gentle spirit touched everyone around her. We will miss her more than words can say.

Peggy was born August 17, 1949, in Center. On October 7, 1967, she was married to the love of her life, Obie Neil Woodfin for 58 years.

Left to cherish her memory is:

Husband, Obie Neil Woodfin; daughter, Amy Woodfin Hedrick, husband Mark, and grandson Daniel; son, Phillip Nathan Woodfin, wife Melissa, and grandsons Ryland and Hayden; brother, Mike Powdrill and wife Sheila. She is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by parents, Charles Powdrill and Ruth Mitchell Powdrill; sister, Melissa Powdrill Bailey; and brother, Allen Powdrill.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2026, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Harold Hanson officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
