Pauline Pitts Hewitt, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Pastor Marlin Cloudy officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Town Cemetery in Sabine County.
Born November 4, 1957, in Center, Pauline is the daughter of Jack Sparks and Lillie Mae Mitchell Sparks. She loved fishing, dancing, and hanging out with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Hewitt, Sr. of Shelbyville; children, Christopher Sparks and wife Angelica of Tenaha, Shona Hewitt and fiancé, Ronald Brown of Shelbyville, and Billy Hewitt, Jr. and fiancé Denecia of Center; grandchildren, Christisaia Sparks, LaJaveon Hewitt, Christiana Sparks, Christian Sparks, Crystal Sparks, DaMarcus Johnson, Brandon Hewitt, Javon Hewitt, Chloe Sparks, Caden Sparks, and Crissy Sparks; great grandson, Nicholas Bennett, Jr.; siblings, Mickey Sparks of Houston, Merlene Carter and husband Jamie of Monroe, Louisiana, Bobby Sparks and wife Adrenne of Center, Arthur Barnett and wife Celine of Houston, Arthur Barnbett and wife Celine of Houston, Rasheed El Amin and wife Nawal of Houston, Linda Alford of Portland, Oregon, Lizzie Faye Payne Allen and husband Kenneth of Center, and Penny Sparks of Orange; father-in-law, Jimmy Hewitt of Shelbyville; brothers-in-law, James Earl Hewitt and wife Gloria of Shelbyville, and Charles Hewitt and wife Sherinaka of Shelbyville; special son-in-law, Kelvin Jones of Center; special niece, Linda Swindle of Shreveport, Louisiana; numerous other nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jack Sparks and Lillie Mae Mitchell Sparks; and nine siblings.
