Patricia Ann McCoy , 85, of Logansport, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Joaquin.
Born August 6, 1938, in Logansport, Louisiana, Patricia is the daughter of the late Calvin Joe Madden and Mary Elizabeth O'Rear Madden. She enjoyed word search puzzles, sewing, and crocheting. Patricia always loved cutting up with the grandkids, and was more like a mom than a grandmother. She was the glue that held her family together.
She is survived by her children, James McCoy and wife Lisa, Barbara and husband Harold Elliott, Debra and husband Jeffery McLeroy, and Wanda and husband Skipper Hagler; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband David Cheatwood, Lonni and husband Jason Bowers, Matt McCoy and spouse Bill McDaniel, J.T. Wilkinson and Dylan, Heather and husband Lee Stevens, Dewayne Thomas and wife Jesse, Brandon Thomas and wife Sheree, Erica and husband Daniel Parks, Daniel Thomas and wife Hannah, Travis Elliott and wife Samantha, Brian Elliott, Amanda Shadix, Justin Hagler, Brittany and husband Jeff Alexander, Harlie and husband Garrett Brown, and Rachel Hagler and Dakota Moody; great grandchildren, Maddisyn, Ryleigh, and Tanner Cheatwood, Alexis and Zoe Horton, Alyssa and Lakynn Bowers, Levi, Kiefer, and Kynslee Stevens, Hurley and Roman Thomas, Makayla, Clayton, Kyler, and Chestin Thomas, Kirstie, Trevor, and Ellie Parks, August Thomas, Kara, Casey, and Kenner Elliott, Bailey and Cadence Shadix, Dakota Horne, Braylon and Dawson Kyle, and Braxlee Alexander, Byler, Gunner, and Garrison Brown, Byron Moody; brother, Joe Madden and wife Kathy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by husband, Howard C. McCoy; grandchildren, Preston Elliott and Matthew Hagler; great grandchildren, Landon Parks and Gracelynn Brown; parents, Calvin Joe Madden and Mary Elizabeth O'Rear Madden.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Dakota Horne, David Cheatwood, Jason Bowers, Daniel Parks, and Brian Elliott. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie B. Stone and Justin Hagler.
