Ouida Gail Springer Garrett , 78, of Logansport, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017, at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Logansport with Rev. Timothy Roberson, Rev. Charles Hall and Rev. Eric L. Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Price Memorial Cemetery in Logansport. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Garrett was born August 24, 1938, in Converse, Louisiana, to Starlin C. Springer and Ovada Lum Springer. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church in Logansport, where she was actively involved in the Vota Vita Sunday School Class.
