Oscar
McDaniel Jr.
, 83, of Tenaha, passed away Saturday,
November 23, 2013 at his residence.
He
was born March 23, 1930 in the Woods Community of Panola County to Oscar
McDaniel Sr. and Thelma Bowden McDaniel.
Mr. McDaniel served in the United States Army and was a member Ramah
Baptist Church in Tenaha, where he served as an usher.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2013 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Ramah Baptist Church in Tenaha with Bro. Keith Keele officiating. Interment will follow at Ramah Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Ramsey, David Lea, Frank Shafer, Cary McDaniel, Phillip Shafer, Ronny Lea, Craig Gray and Terry Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris McDaniel and the deacons and members of Mr. McDaniel's Sunday School Class.
