Orlena Victoria Tate Tatum, 70, of Center, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 in Nacogdoches. She was born June 5, 1938 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to Woodrow Tate and Carrie Levon Chain Tate. Mrs. Tatum was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She loved to quilt and was a member of a local quilting club. She attended Campti Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 25, 2008 at Watson & Sons Chapel in Center with Bro Ozay Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the Campti Cemetery in Shelby County.
Pallbearers will be Jack Daniels III, Daniel Tatum, Edgar Daniels, Patrick Daniels, Richard Tatum Jr., Mark Tate, and John Roy Glass. Honorary Pallbearer will be Chris Warren.
