Ora Verdell "Bubba" Christopher Jr. , 46, of Nacogdoches, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at his residence.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2014 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Nacogdoches County. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

He was born May 4, 1968 in Nacogdoches to Ora Verdell Christopher Sr. and Helen Miller Christopher. Mr. Christopher loved being "Pappy" and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his precious grandchildren. "Bubba" was a man of few words, but spoke through music.
