Opaline Smith Daniels, 78, of Joaquin, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. She was born April 15, 1931 in Carthage to Odrick Levi Smith and Oris Webster White Smith. Ms. Daniels was a member of the Church of Christ in Joaquin.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. D.J. Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Cedar Cemetery in Joaquin.

Pallbearers will be John Paul Wagstaff, James Harris, Jeff Evans, Robert Floyd, Ronald Gould, Donald Gould, and Shane Clevenger.
