Norma Jean Magby , 85, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Shelbyville.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Community Baptist Church in Huxley.  Bro. Don Rickey will officiate.  Additional funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Prater-Lampton Mills Funeral Home in Hugo, Oklahoma with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Born September 26, 1940, in Vashti, Texas, Norma is the daughter of Ruby Minica Farmer and Clarence Farmer. She worked as a cosmetologist for many years and even taught cosmetology.  Norma was a member of Community Baptist Church in Huxley.

She is survived by her husband, Albert (Bud) Magby of Huxley; children, Johnny Magby and wife Ella of Huxley, Mike Magby and wife Sabrina of Fort Towson, Oklahoma, and Melonie and husband Tim Bradshaw of Center; grandchildren, Tasha Jones, Dustin Magby, Chad Magby, Kristin Payne, Kalina Bradhaw, and Daulton Magby; multiple great grandchildren; sisters, Lou Awalt and Nina Sapp; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Minica Farmer and Clarence Farmer; and sisters, Bernice Coffee and Inda Dillard.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Magby, Chad Magby, Kaleb Payne, Kayden Payne, Brodey Magby, Daulton Magby, and Bobby Freeman.
