Nina Campbell Smith, 91, of the McClelland Community passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at her residence. She was born December 29, 1917 in Huxley to Jim Fred Campbell and Callie T. Furlow. Ms. Smith was retired from the Shelbyville School District where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of the McClelland Community Church.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday, May 29th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30th at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Kerry Green and Rev. Jerry Powell officiating. Interment will follow at McClelland Cemetery in the McClelland community.
Pallbearers will be Ms. Smith's grandsons, Billie Smith Jr., Steve Smith, Kenneth Smith, Thomas Landry Jr., Jason Landry, Keith Smith, Justin Smith, Max Windham Jr., Chris Smith, Jonathan Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons.
