Nicholas Szabo , 88, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Center. He was born November 8, 1924 in Divernon, Illinois to Louis Szabo and Elizabeth Molnar Szabo.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Szabo of Shelbyville; sons, John M. Szabo of St. Charles, Illinois, James R. Szabo of Cleveland, Ohio and Paul J. Szabo of Bethalto, Illinois; four grandchildren; one great grandchild and brothers, Alex Szabo of Tovey, Illinois and Joseph Szabo of Taylorville, Illinois.
