Nettie Brittain Windham , 73, of Shelbyville, passed away December 22, 2016, in Nacogdoches.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. D. J. Dickerson officiating. Interment will follow at Patroon Cemetery in Shelby County. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 noon.

Mrs. Windham was born May 11, 1943, in Shelby County, to Gene Brittain and Rosie Scarber Brittain. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and taking care of other people.
