Nadine Powell , 70, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, in Lufkin.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at Rather Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Mrs. Powell was born December 15, 1947, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Cecil Henry Hippler and Levella Leoda Cryer Hippler. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She attended Ephesus Baptist Church in Shelbyville.
