Nadine Stephens Lawson , 90, of Center, Texas, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, at her home in Antioch Community surrounded by her family. She was born April 25, 1935, to Ira and Mary Stephens. She married Forriest Lawson, May 24, 1953. They lived in the Houston area for many years before moving to Center. She loved gardening and being with her family. She was a homemaker until her children were grown; then, she went to work for E. L. Bruce Company for twenty-five years. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served as church secretary, Sunday school teacher, and choir member.
Services will be conducted by Watson and Sons Funeral Home of Center. Visitation is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. with services following in the Watson and Sons Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Burial will follow the service at Antioch Cemetery with refreshments following in the fellowship hall of Antioch Baptist Church. Bro. Johnny Lewis and Bro. Ron Miller officiating.

She has many loved ones waiting for her at heaven's gate, but a special one is her loving husband, Forriest Lawson.
Pallbearers will be grandsons-Jeffrey Lawson, Chad Brown, Eric Brown, William Lawson, Aaron Lawson, Brody Sizemore, and Adam Lawson. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters-Stefanie Wagstaff, Loren Clifton, and Brice Sizemore.
