Obituary

Mildred "Marilyn" King was born October 25, 1947 in Pineland, TX and entered into rest on November 2, 2020 in Nacogdoches, Tx. She was 73 years of age.

Marilyn was a Special Angel. Raised in Pineland, TX she enjoyed helping her family raise a garden and doing other chores around the farm. Later in life she had the opportunity to live in Austin. She spent some time in San Marcos & Marshall as a resident in a Ladies Group Home and then later settled in at Pinegrove Nursing Center in Center, Tx.

Anyone that knew Marilyn knew she loved people. She never met a stranger and made many friends along her life journey. Marilyn enjoyed church and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pineland, Texas. She enjoyed music and loved to sing. One of her favorite times of the year was Christmas. She loved celebrating Christmas and looked forward to seeing all the Christmas lights and being with her family.

Marilyn is survived by a brother, James A. King of Center, TX, a sister, Bobbie Jean King Rugg of Holland, New York, and many other Nieces and Nephews.

Sisters: Lois Burleson & Joyce King

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, TX from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Graveside Services held at 3:00 p.m., at Plainview Cemetery in Bronson, TX.
