Mildred "Cricket" Cockrell Sechler , 80, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at Christus Schumpert Highland in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born July 30, 1932 in Joaquin Tx to William Oswald Cockrell and Rosa Dean Hooper Cockrell. She was a member of Lydia Baptist Church in Shelbyville.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 14, 2013 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Wes Hall and Bro. Gordon Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Sholar Cemetery in Joaquin.

Pallbearers will be Wes Lewis, Rodney Luman, Adam Wiley, Jason Davis, Randal Eaves and Sammy O'Rear. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jonathan Wiley.
