Mike Rodgers, 58, of Joaquin, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009 at his residence. He was born September 22, 1950 in the Pine Ridge Community of Shelby County to Jesse James Rodgers and Modra Lucas Rodgers. Mike was the pastor of Willow Grove Community Church in Joaquin.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Monday, February 9, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Sis. Melba Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow at the Expecting to Fly Cemetery in Joaquin.
