Michelle Matthews , 46, of Dallas, passed away March 30, 2021, in Dallas.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with visitation prior to the service at Watson & Sons Funeral Home at Noon.

Born February 10, 1975, in Grapevine, Michelle is the daughter of Lonnie Self and Bettie Covington Self.

She is survived by her husband, David Matthews of Dallas; children, Karissa Schmidt and husband Anthony of Allen, Daniel Castillo of Plano, and Izzy Carley of Dallas; grandchildren, Axel Schmidt, Presleigh Schmidt, Kinzley Schmidt, and Harlynn Schmidt; sister, Yondi Upchurch of Fort Worth; and brother, Michael Brittain of Mansfield.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Self and Bettie Covington Self.
