Michael Duane "Mike" Permenter , 69, of Center, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in Nacogdoches.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Tenaha Church of Christ.  Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Born April 6, 1952, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Mike is the son of Bill Permenter and Betty Perkins Permenter.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Permenter of Center; brother, Jim Permenter and wife Jan of Center; sister, Suzanne Richards and husband Rex of Center; niece, Amy Dosscher of Kalamazoo, Michigan; nephew, Jarrod Permenter of Kalamazoo, Michigan; niece, Hannah Lee and husband Mark of Nacogdoches; great niece, Ella Mary Dosscher of Kalamazoo, Michigan; great nephews, Stephen, John, and Andrew; numerous cousins; and sister-in-law, Janie Permenter.

Preceded in death by father, Bill Permenter; and brother, Jerry Permenter.
