Maxilene Thorn, 86, of Washington D.C., formerly of Center, Texas, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014, at her residence. She was born January 26, 1927, in Center to John Crocker and Alvie Fults Crocker. Maxilene was the thirteenth child of thirteen children, and she was the last survivor of her generation.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2014, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
